Bishop Dave's First Deanery Synod Visit

At our last Deanery Synod meeting held on 22nd October at St Thomas’ in Simpson Bishop Dave was warmly welcomed before delivering a presentation of his views on the development of the Church in Milton Keynes. This included outlining the five point strategy for Milton Keynes:

o Transform Christ the Cornerstone

o Revive work for Children and Young People

o Propagate new clergy and lay leadership

o Plant churches

o Rebalance the LEP parishes

Bishop Dave then led a question and answer session.  He concluded his presentation with the encouragement to find time and ways to pray in order to make the wonderful things that God has planned for Milton Keynes a reality.
