I went to London today to attend a meeting of the steering group for ChurchAds. They wanted a report on the work we had done in Milton Keynes – and how we had engaged with so many churches.
it was interesting to hear the initial thoughts for this year’s material – but the main thrust of the conversation was that they want to shift their approach to Christmas to really focus on the campaign “Christmas Starts with Christ”. Getting the logo and the slogan in as many places as possible is the current priority, so they want us to encourage churches to use the logo with all of their own publicity.
They will continue to produce resources (including video) but they would prefer people to use this as a library of material rather than a fixed annual campaign.
