Church House Oxford
In a world often defined by differences, Christians are called to be ‘reconciled reconcilers.’ As part of the Diocese of Oxford’s ‘Equipping for Life’ courses for the Summer term, a one-day course entitled ‘Living Reconciliation’ inspired by the Indaba process of deep listening and seeking common ground, will take place on Saturday 20 May from 10am – 4pm at Church House in Kidlington. (Attendees are asked to bring a packed lunch.)
The course will be led by Revd Dr Phil Groves, formerly Director of the Anglican Communion Continuing Indaba Project. It is offered free to those seeking to become Licensed Lay Ministers and their mentors, and is £20 to others. A couple of people from the Deanery will be attending, so if anyone is interested in joining us, please let me know.
This day will share experiences of profound reconciliation from around the Anglican Communion, exploring the promise of Living Reconciliation and being an example to the world about how to live and love even those with whom we disagree.
