'PCC Tonight' - An Introductory Evening

Date(s) - 26/09/2017
7.30 pm to 9.45 pm

Emmanuel Church

Dear all,

After excellent feedback and over 200 attending a ‘PCC Tonight’ event in Reading in January, my colleagues and I have organised a PCC Tonight introductory evening on Tues 26th Sept (7.30pm) at Emmanuel Church Bicester.

This is an excellent evening which helps PCC members start thinking about how they function as a PCC and how they can work together better. It’s an introduction to the 6-week CPAS resource ‘PCC Tonight’, which I’m sure most of you will have come across.

It’s been advertised via e-news, but the booking link didn’t work. I suspect this is one contributory factor to the low numbers of bookings at the moment.

Would you please encourage your clergy to book up with as many of their PCC members as they can bring? There’s a small charge, but if several people book at the same time, the charge is low. The evening is really enjoyable and there’s a handout to take away. The ‘PCC Tonight’ packs are also available to buy at a slight discount.

With the interesting dynamics that we often encounter on PCCs, it would be great to get as many as possible aware of this resource, and encourage them to work through it together. Or what about running it for a group of churches within a deanery?

Thoughts please?

I’d love to get as many PCC members as possible to attend this evening.

Peace be with you,
